Wow! I have no idea what my problem is, but I am an emotional wreck today. I was holding up most of the day, did my three workouts, and tried not to complain, but after that, all hell broke loose. I don't know what got into me, but I've been somewhat of a b*tch and very tearful too. Maybe it's a hormonal thing.
An hour of exercise per day isn't excessive, but I feel like I could use a break; just some time to relax and do nothing at all.
Maybe the low carbs aren't helping. I had a very tasty burger and salad for lunch, but seeing the boyfriend with his burger in a bun and baked potato was a little bit jealousy inducing.
Well, I think I am ready for an early night!. Hopfully, I will be ready for a new round tomorrow! I will do it, ready or not!
Until tomorrow - goodnight!

I don't know where you are time wise but by the time you get this you will defintely be in carb zone so I hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the break though. I read Belinda's post about taking a day off and just slumped into my chair.
Hope today goes well for you
Hi Petra,
ReplyDeletehopefully you are feeling much better today, the carbs should help! But I feel your pain, we have been doing 2 workouts daily now for 7 weeks in the LGN challenge, and I had days as well where I felt really bad and just wanted to stay in bed... But it goes away and by now you are hopefully on the "up" again!
Hard to believe that you are reaching the halfway point for Dax's challenge. That's incredible to think about the changes and accomplishments that you have been making in so many ways.
ReplyDeleteI know it has been very encouraging for Melissa to have such an interactive group of folks in this challenge. She's definitely stepped out of her comfort zone in so many ways. In fact she's going to be coming with me on Monday morning to my boot camp along with keeping up with her 30 day challenge requirements! I am totally stoked to have her with me! Hopefully I'll even be able to post a video of what we've done on my own Blog. Stay tuned!
I've heard that Dax has been MIA for a wee bit. Not hard to believe with how busy he is. As an online instructor for a college state-side I know the students love that high level of involvement - especially when there are questions.
Anyway, keep up the excellent work! You're doing fantastic!
Sorry to hear about the emotions - you are all on such a rollercoaster with so many feelings going on. Brave heart! Hopefully a good night's rest and the right encouragement from your fellow Global Challenges were help you hang tough. You're incredible.
Have a great weekend!
Andrew
Hi Petra ~ yes I had the very same type of emotional day yesterday. I could feel the mood just crater downward and it was a real trigger for me to want to INDULGE (but I pressed through it) and I know you are doing the same!!! Keep up the great work. We have come so far and we have a good ways ahead of us. Thanks for all your support. Lisa Jean
